Unconference Jyväskylä! is an event for business leaders, entrepreneurs, students, change makers and anyone interested in the business of sustainability.

Lots of groups and people in this city have their own initiatives on how to make Jyväskylä (and the world!) a better place to live and work so we're offering just an open space for sharing knowledge, ideas and advice.

An unconference is a facilitated, participant-driven conference centred around a theme or purpose. It's the opposite of a traditional conference.

• It's a pick-and-mix programme.
• The law of two feet. If you don't like a session move on until you find one that engages you.
• A marketplace of ideas, many-to-many rather than one-to-many.

On February 25 we're putting on a participative video night featuring your favourite TEDTalks. What idea do you want to spread? 

Based on the TED Conference concept (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TED_(conference)), TEDTalks are online videos of great thinkers and doers with 'ideas worth spreading'. Their aim is using 'the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world'. 

Check out www.TED.com and send us the link of your favourite video related to sustainability, the environment, CSR… something you think is inspiring to others interested in business + sustainability issues. 

Then join us on Thursday February 25 to watch short thought-provoking videos and to find out what idea others want to spread.  

We’ll bring the popcorn. J

DOING GOOD & DOING WELL CONFERENCE IN BARCELONA
Registration is now open for participants to this two day event (Feb 26-27) in Barcelona.
